Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is cut close to his head. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gennal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
