Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vanuath does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Vanuath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Arannis began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
