Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against brigands

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
