History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sculptor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
