History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Marshal. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Peren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barrister.
