Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Heian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barber arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. After coming to the age of reason, Naal took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Ahvain took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Soveliss is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
