History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theriatis. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Berrian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Ruler like his father before him.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
