History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Aelar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aelar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Soveliss took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
