History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting orcs, the young Naal began to lead the lost caravan. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Mindartis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mindartis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mindartis. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Aelar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aelar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
