History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Paelias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Paelias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dayereth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Gifted from a young age, Berrian studied abroad. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Berrian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mayor. He's also a talented Farmer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Farmer again; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
