History: Born in the west to a Shepherd, Heian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is long and red with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: Gifted from a young age, Thervan studied abroad. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a pickaxe on his belt. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly pickaxes and quarterstaffs. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
