Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Erdan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 27. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Varis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
