History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern
