Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
