His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Paelias took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He tends to his Doctor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Efferil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Efferil. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mindartis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fisher. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
