He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. Ahvain was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cook. He tends to his Cook job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
