History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a Tanner, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Through the years after Himo was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Himo's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
