Description: An older man who wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. This green eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A true patriot, Theriatis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Animal Trainer. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.
