History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahvain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahvain. History: Suhnae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and sabotage a competitor

History: Hadarai hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lucan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his religion dominates his actions
