History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Thervan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
