Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a spear on his belt. He wears his golden hair down. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. A true patriot, Quarion would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Quarion was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarion fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quarion grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quarion. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears just a white suit. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his feathered white hat.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Guard profession.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
