Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and to be a guard again

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Map Maker. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has money and likes to spend it
