He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. After a long history of fighting, Naal and his spouse have recently divorced.
