History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Mindartis alone in the world. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raer hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Raer began to lead the lost caravan. Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a slave trader and was forced into it by his family
