History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now owns his own business.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Gennal's homeland. Gennal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
