Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. During his travels, Galinndan and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Galinndan discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Galinndan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Varis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Varis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.
