History: Lamlis was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He's also a talented Mayor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
