History: Born to a Jeweler, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Peren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. At a young age his father died while driving off some giants. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in halberd use. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
