History: He was born into a rich family. Theriatis was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Spice Merchant. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
