History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Heian was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His first spouse was a Butcher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Born to a Slave Trader, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with his Slave Trader mother left him crippled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business
