History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gifted student he started as a Carpenter, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and seeks redemption

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Nim was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nim decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. Soveliss is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
