Personality: Peren wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Peren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
