History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
