Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Interpreter who has hired him part-time. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eiravel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eiravel. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A freak accident while working with his Mayor mother left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bookbinder profession.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
