History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
