History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tharivol grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tharivol. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His childhood dream was to be a Stableman, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Scribe father left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: This man stands a little under 5'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
