He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gennal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
