History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Rael was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rael's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
