History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Miller, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born in the south. Nutae was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sage. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
