Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Erdan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born in the south. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Varis was born with his mother's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
