Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Heian reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. History: Born in the west to a Slave Trader, Gennal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
