History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Theren never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is content

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Ahvain hails from a village terrorized by illithids. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ahvain was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
