History: Heian was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He tends to his Beggar job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Lamlis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor.
