History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Dreali liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: This man wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a morningstar on his belt. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are green.

Personality: Soveliss is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Soveliss was taken on many hunting expeditions. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Soveliss fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
