History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Traki was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Traki's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
