Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Theren was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He keeps his golden hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Hadarai is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Description: He dresses well, wearing white shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'0" when asserting himself. His hair is black and very short. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Peren lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: An older man who likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and black with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
