Description: A middle-aged man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a pastel coat, and is pretty ugly. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed pastel hat.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Healer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Rael studied abroad. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Efferil was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Map Maker and occasionally as a mercenary.
