History: Born in the south to a Herbalist, Hadarai learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Hadarai has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is greedy

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. The war was a terrible time for him, and Aerdeth does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aerdeth grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality
