History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Naeris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Naeris and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Being a Shoemaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Ahvain was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
