History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears violet leather gloves, a violet jacket, and tight pants. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Tanner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Carrie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
